Search Scheduling Records

The following are Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about searching for scheduling records from the Sched Dev or AIS Sched screens. If you do not see a topic covered, you can submit an idea for a FAQ.

Q: How to Perform a Search for One or More Sched Dev Records
A: Sched Dev contains scheduling records that have been entered in the CCLP for the department and subject you are logged in with. By default only Active courses are in the found set. Active courses are courses that are not Cancelled. To perform a search for one or more Sched Dev records:

  1. Click the Find Course button (on the right side of the Sched Dev screen). The Find layout will appear.

  2. Type in criteria into the field or fields that will narrow the search results. Then press Return. For example, to search for the course with the number 101, type 101 into the Course Number field. This will return all courses that have a course number that begins with 101 (e.g. 101, 101A, 101B, etc.). To search for just the course number equal to 101, type =101. To search for a course offered in a particular term, select the term from the Year Term Offered field.

  3. To restore all of the Sched Dev records to the result set, click All Courses. To restore only the active courses (courses that are not Cancelled) click the Active Courses button.

Q: How to Perform a Search for One or More AIS Sched Records
A: AIS Sched contains scheduling records that originate from AIS and were sent to the CCLP via a nightly interface. The AIS Sched records correspond to the department and subject you are logged in with. AIS Sched records are Read Only. By default only Active courses are in the found set. Active courses are courses that are not Cancelled. To perform a search for one or more AIS Sched records:

  1. Click the Find Course button (on the right side of the AIS Sched screen).

AIS Sched course numbers do not have leading zeroes so the course number 001 appears as 1 in AIS Sched (a course number 080 appears as 80 in AIS Sched).

  3. To restore all of the AIS Sched records to the result set, click All Courses. To restore only the active courses (courses that are not Cancelled) click the Active Courses button.
